當你迎接新毛孩回家，除了為牠安排身體檢查，還要準備接種疫苗。為什麼要接種疫苗？何時接種才合適？要接種多少疫苗才足夠？貓狗疫苗有分別嗎？讓我們為你逐一解惑。
作為一個負責任的主人，你必須為毛孩接種疫苗。疫苗有助毛孩對抗多種高傳染性甚至致命的疾病，對免疫系統未發育完成的年幼寵物尤為重要。
尚未接種疫苗的毛孩不應和其他貓狗接觸，因為過程中可能會感染病毒，對沒有抗體的毛孩來說非常危險！
初生動物可從母乳中獲得抗體，斷奶後就要靠自己的免疫系統。疫苗能刺激免疫系統製造抗體，藉此強化毛孩的免疫力。
不能太早 不能太遲
幼犬／幼貓一般需在六至八週大的時候開始接種疫苗。太早接種疫苗的話，母乳抗體可能會影響疫苗的功效；但是如果太遲接種，就會出現保護空窗期。
健康檢查 同步進行
你可以要求獸醫同時為毛孩進行身體檢查，以確認牠的健康狀況。
在接種疫苗後，幼貓幼犬的身體需要一段時間才能製造抗體。在此期間，必須確保生活環境乾淨衛生，以減低患病風險。
疫苗接種的時間和頻率取決於貓狗的年齡和健康狀況。一般來說：
「初次三針」接種原則：每三至四週打一次，總共三針。

為什麼要打三針？
幼貓幼犬剛出生時，體內仍有母體賦予的抗體。這些抗體可能會「中和」疫苗的作用，令第一針效果不穩定。
多次接種有助確保成功製造足夠抗體，建立穩定的免疫系統。
打漏一針，有沒有影響？
若跳過中間某一針，可能無法達到預期保護效果。
追加疫苗（booster）年年要打？
根據澳洲獸醫協會（ AVA ）指引，核心疫苗通常建議每三年追加一次，但具體情況視乎地區風險和毛孩抗體水平而定。
你的獸醫會根據毛孩的需要安排追加疫苗，實際情況請向獸醫查詢。
「核心疫苗」（core vaccines）和「非核心疫苗」（non-core vaccines）分別指必要和非必要的寵物疫苗。

香港是非狂犬病地區，為何仍要接種狂犬病疫苗？
自80年代起，香港一直為非狂犬病地區。要保持這項良好記錄，必須維持高疫苗接種比例。
狂犬病由病毒引起，能夠感染所有哺乳類動物，更是一種致命疾病，一旦出現病徵便無法治療。
根據香港法例，狗隻必須在五個月大時注射預防狂犬病疫苗，之後須每三年再注射預防狂犬病疫苗一次。
「非核心疫苗」針對因地理位置、當地環境或生活方式而帶來感染風險的疾病。你的獸醫會按照你和毛孩的生活習慣提供相關建議。
貓狗可以選擇接種的非核心疫苗
疫苗佐劑（adjuvant）有風險？
為了加強免疫反應，一般疫苗會加入佐劑，尤其是某些貓貓疫苗。這類佐劑可能引起某些副作用，例如注射部位發炎，甚至有腫瘤風險。
朗晴動物醫院提供有佐劑（adjuvanted）和無佐劑（non-adjuvanted）的疫苗選擇，以切合不同主人和毛孩的需要和預算。
部分毛孩接種疫苗後會出現短暫不適，但一般會在數日內恢復精神。疫苗雖然可能帶來副作用，但不接種疫苗的話，毛孩就會面對感染致命病毒的風險。

如何判斷腫塊是否異常？
打針後的紅腫通常會在兩週內自行消退。如遇以下情況，必須盡快檢查：

如毛孩本身已有潛伏疾病，接種疫苗有機會引致發病。如有疑問，請向獸醫查詢。
我們一般建議「新到毛孩」先在家觀察十至十四日，確保並無任何病徵，以排除潛伏期病毒。看診時，獸醫會評估毛孩是否適合當日接種疫苗，並作出相應安排。

Complimentary shuttle bus between Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk and the nearest subway station XXX is available for the guests on weekends and holidays, between 10:00am and 7:00 pm running every 20 minutes.

Hotel guest can use the parking lot for XXX per day per vehicle (until 24:00 of the departure day). Customers who spend more than XXX in restaurant can park for 2 hours free of charge. Please bring your parking ticket when settling the bill. Parking fee for other customers is XXX for up to 1 hour and after that XXX will be added per every 30 minutes. If you park more than 2 hours, XXX will be added to the total amount. *For example, the parking fee will be XXX if you park for 2 hours 50 minutes.
